Generally, the River sites are very pretty, and can be quite secluded and private. They can be hard to find, ask the duty ranger if you have any problems. They are particularly good in the Spring and Fall. The dirt roads can be a bit "challenging" for sedan type vehicles. You can drive right up to the site to unload and park your car near your site. I have a concern about the water supply depending on the season you go. They are a good site to base your spring canoe trip from. The National Park Service run TMR canoe landing is a short hike away. |
