Overall Rating 2 1/2 FDL
Type of Site Leanto site
Easy to find? Noooooo way If you don't know where you are going, forget it!  Do yourself a favor and ask for help.
Capacity 4 or 5 leantos The leantos sleep 4 big fat scouters with plenty of room.  Judge for yourself based on your unit
Can you drive to it? Not really 4 wheel drives bottom out on the way to Lenape.  The dirt road into the site dead ends in the middle of the forest.  Be prepared to hike in.
Water Water is nowhere to be found You got to hike it in from the Conklin farms sulfur water, The pines pump or the Ten Mile River.
Latrine 1 seater just as you come into the site, 5 steps away. State of repair debatable.  BYOTP.
Biggest Advantage It is in the middle of nowhere. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place.  No one will bother you, not even the ranger.
Secondary Advantage It is right on the TMR and the Tusten Mountain Trails.. Lots of interesting landscapes to interest the scouts.  Culverts, wooden bridges, pine forests, switchbacks, etc...
Primary Disadvantage The water situation Any way you look at it, it is quite a haul.  Make sure you purify any water that needs to be.  Perfect punishment for that troublesome scout.
Secondary disadvantage Getting to the site Parking at the trailhead can also be at a premium.
