Winter Toboggan Trip, January 2007

great event the Troop really looks forward to is the annual Winter Toboggan
trip. We had moved this trip to the end of January and it worked
well. Although a scheduling snafu compromised our trip, in true 170
fashion we made the best of it and had a great time!! The many activities included winter football, board
games and movies! This trip is a time that the kids really get to enjoy themselves as well, since the adults of the troop take on the cooking responsibility. The master chef Tom Lemme and his fellow band of assistant cooks slave in the kitchen to create innovative dishes to expand the scouts horizons on food. Games, food, movies (including the infamous "no holds barred" Monopoly game), contribute to a great weekend as we hit the midway point of the scouting year. |
