Winter Toboggan Trip, January 2005
Another
great event the Troop really looks forward to is the annual Winter Toboggan
trip. We moved this trip this year to the end of January in
beautiful Ten Mile River Scout Camp. Some of the great activities
includes of course Tobogganing down many of the hills of TMR, as well as a
good game of Winter football.
This trip is a time that the kids really get to enjoy themselves as well, since the adults of the troop take on the cooking responsibility. The master chef Tom Lemme and his fellow band of assistant cooks slave in the kitchen to create innovative dishes to expand the scouts horizons on food. This year, the Scoutmaster Marc Yovine stepped up to the plate with some culinary creativity of his own!! Games, food, movies (including the infamous "no holds barred" Monopoly game), contribute to a great weekend as we hit the midway point of the scouting year. |
