Easy to find? | Yes | It is in the suburbs. Get directions from the council office, the street signs could be difficult to read, especially at night. |
Site Availability | Easy to get a reservation | We have never been shut out. The council office is very helpful. |
Can you drive to site? | No, central parking area. | The ranger and campmaster usually offer to truck your troop equipment to your site for you. |
Water | Central water locations throughout the camp. | |
Latrine | Strategic spots throughout camp. | Latrine facilities in very good shape. The scoutmaster latrine near the parking lot is worth the trip alone. |
Biggest Advantage | Extremely helpful and accommodating rangers and campmasters. | They want you and your unit to have a good time. |
Secondary Advantage | Cute, well maintained little camp. | Beautiful, well kept facilities. |
Primary Disadvantage | The Merit Parkway runs right through the middle of camp. | Nice trail that goes right underneath the Merit Parkway. |
