New York City - Troop Trip, February 2009

city trip was an exciting excursion to the concrete jungles of NYC. We
spent 4 hours on a guided tour of the new and improved USS Intrepid where
the Scouts learned a great deal about the history of this war time ship.
They had the opportunity to do interactive activities on-board the ship as
well as walking the flight deck to check out the various planes and jets.
Everyone had a blast. We had dinner at the ESPN Zone where the Scouts were able to hit the arcades and enjoy some great grub. On Sunday, we hit a movie in the morning and then back home. All-in-all a great time!! |
