New York City - Troop Trip, February 2008

think its crazy, but our City trip this year was to New York City.
Before you second guess, truth be told, none of our Scouts have ever really
experienced Manhattan. With a couple of seasoned adults with "inside
knowledge", we set out to experience some of the finer things the greatest
City in the world had to offer. The Scouts enjoyed a lot of different activities, including the "Top of the Rock" views, skating at Rockefeller Center, seeing "Spam-a-Lot" on Broadway, and a scavenger hunt in The Village! Many have never been to a Broadway show before, so it was an exciting event, and the scavenger hunt got to put many scouting skills to work even on the pavement of Manhattan island. It was a great time! |
