King of Sweden Visit to Camp Alpine, October 2002
| The GNYC Council was honored for the Kings visit to Camp Alpine. The King, visiting each council as a leading member of the World Scout Organization, came to Camp Alpine which was a trip postponed from last year due to the events of September 11th. Troop 170's own Scoutmaster Thomas Lemme was the official guide for the event, where his "unique sense of humor", went over extremely well with all of the delegates. We all wish the King well and good luck in the remainder of his travels. |
