Overall Rating 3 FDL
Capacity 20 Bunk Beds, Upper and Lower with mattresses.
Kitchen Facilities Full kitchen, refrigerator, stove, oven and sinks. You can do a cooking show from here.
Surroundings It is right outside Camp Aquehonga up on a hill.  You can see it from Route 26.  There are no drapes or blinds in the cabin.  Change in the bathroom, to avoid giving a "peep show" to people on the road.
Heat Gas heat and fireplace. You pay for the gas you use by the number of "clicks", i.e. numbers that pass on the gas meter.  If you want to save money, build a fire, it will heat up the whole room.
Water Water piped right to your cabin. And they call it "camping."
Toilet Situation 1 flush toilet and shower. N/A
Biggest Advantage Sleeps 20, right outside summer camp with sports field nearby. Baseball and football as well as star gazing and other scout craft stuff is easy to do on the sports field.
Secondary Advantage It is the easiest cabin facility to find on the reservation. You pass it whenever you come to camp.
Primary Disadvantage It is the oldest of the Winter facilities. After a tough summer, it can appear quite "run-down".  Some of the staff sleeps there in the summer.  Staff boredom can sometimes lead to immature hi-jinx.
Secondary Disadvantage You can see Route 26 from your bed. Conversely, the folks on 26 can see you too.
Bonus Disadvantage It has 2 names. The original Barta House was demolished years ago.  This facility was originally called the "Barta Annex".  Old timers still call it the Barta House.  Sometimes people will annoy you by correcting you and telling you its real name is Traubner.  It answers to BOTH names.
