Arch Bridge Camping Weekend, May 2007
| For many, Arch Bridge is one of the most beautiful sites in Ten Mile River. It is set on the Delaware River, right where the Ten Mile River flows in. This makes for some beautiful views. This was an exciting trip for the Scouts, where we set them up for an opportunity to ford the Ten Mile River! We had them cross the river various ways, including simulation of them carrying packs over their heads. We also had time to cook some good meals, and play some sports. The weather forecast was not good, but Mother Nature was looking upon us. Many of the Scouts said it was one of their most favorite trips ever! |
